HOW TO: Get 30,000 hits to your blog.........in 5 easy steps:

1. Start a blog:

Easy enough, right? Or, in this case is it write? In any case (well, not really ANY case....) first you need to create an on-line destination for folks to actually read, share, and be inspired by your rants.

To do this you have many convenient choices. Here are but a few:

• Blogger

• Does require a Google account 
• (but hey, if you don't have one of these yet.... 
• that's a different post altogether)
• Easy to use, simple to customize, and absolutely FREE
• Wordpress 
• https://wordpress.com/
• Can be free
• can also be heavily customized for a few bucks
• Tumblr
• https://www.tumblr.com/
• easy to use
• and yes, free
• There are many, many, more to suite any taste or budget......

2. Write:

• No, really. you need to write....a lot.
• Then write some more.
• Occasionally, you will actually write something worth publishing
• Sometimes you will even publish something worth sharing....
• Regardless, you must write. It's what writers do.

3. Plug

• Shamlessly
• Daily
• Across multiple social platforms

4. Read

• All the time
• Other bloggers stuff
• Novels
• Non-Fiction
• Periodicals
• Read. All the time

5. Lather, rinse, repeat......

Do all of this and in a couple of years (or sooner if you are more talented than this hack) you too will have over 30,000 hits.
