I am quite aware of the common consensus and the baggage contained within its realms of unconsciousness.

That is nothing new about collective cohesiveness, nor has public outcry resulted in undeserved backlashes of unbridled uniformity.......yet.

For Jah's sake, don't let yourself fall into the predatory trap of inexhaustible fear and loathing.
